  • How to add and delete pages

  • How to easily edit pages and move things around

  • How to change the content on each page, (including adding images and text)

  • Designing a simple Home or Coming Soon page as a starting point for your website so that you can get something live asap

  • Adding hyperlinks to images, buttons and text

  • Connecting up your social media accounts

  • Connecting up your domain name

  • Adding your brand font, colours and styling to your site

  • Checking mobile compatibility

  • Connecting your site to Google

This workshop will be delivered online and is available for only $20, thanks to funding from the Small Business Development Corporation and the Government of Western Australia. For free advice and guidance on starting and growing your business, and details of all their workshops visit smallbusiness.wa.gov.au.

So, why Squarespace?

  1. It’s one of the easiest build-your-own programs out there.

  2. It’s a powerhouse with Google - they were the first platform to integrate with Google and having a Squarespace Commerce website automatically pushes you higher in Google rankings.

  3. It’s incredible value for money being a high quality platform that starts from as little as $13/month.

  4. There’s no hidden extras to do simple things like remove their branding from your site, add in an SSL (security certificate) or add different options to products in your store. It’s one simple monthly (or yearly) price, depending on the level of payments/ecommerce that you need your website to perform.

  5. Marketing tools (such as a Pop-up or Insta feed), hosting and automatic mobile-friendly conversation is all included without having to add ‘plug-ins’ or custom coding.
